150 year of the Underground: This year, 2013, is the 150th anniversary of the world’s oldest underground railway system and it is built under our very feet. Come along to this introductory talk on the London Underground, who inspired its construction, how it began and how it has developed into the system we use today. The talk is accompanied with portraits on the walls, handouts of maps and posters.
