Victory at the Siege of Mafeking was met with celebratory crowd scenes usually associated with VE Day in 1945. One of the heroes of this victory was Robert Baden-Powell, who through the ingenious use of ever dwindling supplies managed to hold out until relief arrived. Usually known for his work with the Boy Scout Movement, join us to learn about the earlier career of this inspiring man. Talk led by Samuel Catterall-Young.
