Members afternoon preview - BP Portrait Award 2010

The BP Portrait Award 2010, the foremost competition of its kind, will return in June to showcase some of the very best of contemporary portraiture. Last year 1,900 artists from a huge variety of backgrounds submitted their work to the competition, from which 60 portraits were chosen. The final exhibition was visited by over 298,000 people, the highest recorded visitor figure for the show.
