FTI Consulting partners with the National Portrait Gallery
FTI Consulting is delighted to partner with an institution that is home to the portraits of the UK's great leaders, innovators and thinkers of the past and present. The National Portrait Gallery, founded in 1856, is built on the philosophy of using the subject of an image to build a rich and historical narrative. It was this, combined with its specialist forensic team that carries out technical analysis on portraiture that made the National Portrait Gallery a great partner for FTI Consulting as we both share a professional interest in leading thinkers and technical discovery.
We work with the leaders of today, helping them to navigate their way through changing times, whilst our technology and forensic teams use their technical skills to help companies discover that crucial piece of evidence or information. That combination of technical expertise and changing historical context makes this such an interesting partnership for FTI Consulting and the National Portrait Gallery its obvious partner in the arts.
Through this partnership, in May 2010 the National Portrait Gallery launched a new programme, supported by FTI Consulting, which sees the Gallery open late on Thursdays and Fridays. The ‘Late Shift' enables Londoners to drop by after work hours to take in art, culture, food and drink in a sociable setting. It aspires to become a recognised cultural destination offering talks, music, special events and access to the Gallery's Collection and exhibitions in a relaxed and vibrant environment.
