Inspired by the major exhibition Bailey’s Stardust,* Snap Shot explores the motivation for making or taking a portrait. Enjoy an evening of free events that explore photography.

Visit our old-school photo booth in Room 22 and create a self portrait to take home.

Track down our mobile studio on the Floor 2 and have a Polaroid Portrait taken by photographer Eddie Otchere. Download your retro image from flickr.com/natportraitgallery/sets

Explore themes of photography and self-portraiture in a series of short talks by academics, curators, artists and publishers in Room 20.

Get creative in a paper disguise workshop in the Digital Space.

Delight in cabaret hosted by John Sizzle and A Man To Pet who take over the Bookshop Bar for one unique night.

Enjoy live music by the Ewan Bleach Quartet in Room 32, with Ewan Bleach on Clarinet/Saxophones, Andy Dickens on Trumpet, Jean-Marie Fagon on Guitar and Jim Ydstie on Bass.

Take home a free Late Shift Tour created by photo historian Anne Braybon which explores portraiture today.

Don’t forget to take advantage of 2 for 1 drinks with your Bailey’s Stardust exhibition ticket at the Late Shift bar situated in Room 32 Foyer. Last orders 21.30.

All events are free and drop-in. Event capacity is limited and spaces are allocated on a first come, first served basis and subject to availability.
