From talks and tours to workshops and drop-in drawing, there is a great range of activities to take part in at Late Shift, offering new ways to explore the Gallery’s Collection and get involved.

THURSDAYS

Find out something new
Every Thursday at 19.00 there’s a diverse programme of gallery talks, panel discussions, exhibition tours or philosophy salons covering a range of topics from history, politics and science to art, literature and philosophy.

Unwind
From 18.00, you can enjoy a drink at the Late Shift Bar while our DJs bring the Main Hall to life.

FRIDAYS

Learn to draw
Get creative and take inspiration from our Collection in our popular, free artist-led drop-in drawing sessions. We run two each Friday so you can take part from 18.30 – 19.15 or 19.45 – 20.30. All materials are provided.

Listen to live music
Enjoy a diverse selection of free live music performances, ranging from classical and folk music to Jazz and contemporary compositions.

Also look out for our series of Essentials Workshops where you can learn practical drawing, painting and photography techniques from experienced artists and photographers.
