WAHEED ALLI

Lord Waheed Alli was given a place in the House of Lords in 1998, where he is an active proponent of Gay Rights and Equality. Alli is Executive Chairman of the media rights company Chorion, Chairman of ASOS, one of the UK's largest online fashion retailers, and Director of Olga Productions, which produces The Paul O'Grady Show. He is also a trustee of the Elton John AIDS Foundation, Chancellor of De Montfort University, Leicester and President of the National Youth Theatre.
