Author

Joanna Trollope is the author of seventeen highly acclaimed, bestselling contemporary novels, the most recent being The Soldier’s Wife (2012). She has also written a study of women in the British Empire, Britannia’s Daughters, and a number of historical novels. She was appointed OBE in 1996 in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.

Richard McClure is a freelance journalist.
