Alongside the main exhibition book, a smaller, paperback publication featuring a selection of highlights from the exhibition will also be available, exclusive to National Portrait Gallery retail outlets.

This ‘highlights’ book includes fifty key works from Vogue 100: A Century of Style, including photographs by Cecil Beaton, Clifford Coffin, Corinne Day, John Deakin, André de Dienes, Don Honeyman, Horst P. Horst, George Hoyningen-Huene, Sheila Metzner, Lee Miller, Helmut Newton, Norman Parkinson, Herb Ritts, Snowdon, Edward Steichen, Juergen Teller, Mario Testino, Ronald Traeger, Tim Walker, Bruce Weber and Dorothy Wilding. Each is accompanied by a text by the exhibition’s curator Robin Muir, who tells the fascinating stories behind the images.

The writer and broadcaster Polly Devlin, a features editor at Vogue in the 1960s and 1970s, contributes an illustrated introductory essay on the history of the magazine over its first century, with special reference to her time there. A chronology charting the history of British Vogue and illustrated with vintage covers provides a context for the images.
