Henschel’s eldest daughter, Helen write a biography about him and his wife under the title of “When Soft Voices Die” published in 1944 by JWesthouse Publishers. The book contains valuable information about their lives and also, Henschel’s friendship with Brahms. Highly recommend if you haven’t come across this book already.
