Henry Gally Knight(1786-1846), Writer on architecture
Sitter in 7 portraits
Knight wrote and published poetry between 1816 and 1830, but the mixed reviews he received prompted him to turn his attention to the study of architecture. Although Knight's work was that of an amateur antiquarian, his books were influential for some early Victorian architects.
