Sir Oliver Joseph Lodge
(1851-1940), PhysicistSitter in 45 portraits
Lodge made fundamental contributions to radio communication as Professor of Physics, Liverpool University (1881-1900) and as first Principal of Birmingham University. His works include The Ether of Space (1909) and Advancing Science (1931).
