Magazine editor, cartoonist and caricaturist. His cartoons, under the pen name 'Marc', appeared in the New Statesman (1970-78), The Times (1969-83) and Guardian (1983-88). After working for the Sunday Express and Lilliput he was invited by Jocelyn Stevens to become the Art Director of Queen. Boxer went on to launch the influential Sunday Times Magazine. In 1983 he returned to editing when he was appointed editor of the Tatler and, in 1987, editor-in-chief of Vogue.
