Born in Dartford, and educated at Dartford Grammar School and the London School of Economics, Jagger formed the rock and roll band The Rolling Stones in 1962 with Keith Richards and Brian Jones. Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts joined soon after. One of the most successful and enduring bands of all time, The Rolling Stone's hits include Satisfaction (1965), Brown Sugar (1971), Street Fighting Man (1971) and Angie (1973). Jagger also starred in films such as Performance and Ned Kelly (both 1970). He was Knighted in 2003 for services to popular music.
