Ross Wilson

Artist of 14 portraits
Ross Wilson is one of Northern Ireland's leading artists. He studied Fine Art at the University of Ulster and at the Chelsea School of Art and has been a visiting speaker at Harvard and Oxford Universities. The year 1997 saw Wilson's first public sculpture commission in bronze being placed at the Waterfront Hall, Belfast. The following year he was commissioned for the centenary C.S. Lewis Sculpture in 1998, also in Belfast. Wilson's many portrait commissions have included Nobel Laureates Derek Walcott and Seamus Heaney, and the playwright Arthur Miller. His artwork is displayed across the world among several public and private collections. Wilson currently resides and works in Northern Ireland.
