David Gamble

David Gamble studied art at the Ealing School of Art before taking a postgraduate course at the Association of Photographers. From 1983 he assisted Neal Slavin on a major portrait book, The Britons. In 1984 he began working at the Observer magazine. He subsequently moved to New York, where he worked for the New Yorker, Life and Time magazines.
