Lady Mary Feilding established 'The Working Ladies' Guild for Necessitous Gentlewomen' in 1870. Its final incarnation was the old age home in Highgate, Mary Feilding House, closed to residents with 3 months' notice by a new proprietor in 2021 amidst much public outcry. Its archives, with much of Lady Mary's correspondence, are now in the Highgate Literary and Scientific Institution. Other archival material relating to Lady Mary is in Warwickshire County Record Office
