1. Roland Venables Vernon, 1878 - 1942, married Marjorie Leon 2. Was working in the office of the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia. 3. 1919 appointed Deputy Accountant General of the Board of Education. 4. 1924 Assistant Secretary, Middle East Department, Colonial Office, and was awarded the CB (Civil Division). 5. Co-author of the Young-Vernon Report on the financial position in Iraq. 6. 1930 was an adviser to the International Labour Conference.
