Robert Adeane is my great uncle. I'm not sure if I can help you further. He put a lot of money into the Tate Gallery (now Tate Britain) and started the Friends of the Tate with my mother, now Penny Allen, nee Penny Colman. He also started the Costarican railway. He was married 3 times, one of the wives was called Kit the last one was Jane Adeane. He lived in a large white house in Suffolk called Loudon. He had 4 or five sisters Madeleine, Helena, Lettice m. Geoffrey Colman of mustard.
