Mark, I feel you should share these stories, so that fans can get a real sense of who Fred was. Obviously, very personal tales should remain just that, personal. I believe that you would be respectful in what you chose to share and that your loyalty to Fred would remain your utmost consideration.

I attended Ealing Tech. @ School of Art and was in the same class as Fred Bulsara who became Freddie Mercury. We were good friends from the day we met which was in the queue lining up for formal enrolment following our acceptance as students in Fashion Design and class 1B. Fred was kicked out of fashion because he spent more time attending matinee gigs of Jimmie Hendrix and dreaming of being a star than he did in class. He begged his way back in and went into Graphics which was on the same floor and right opposite Fashion. You can read about me in Mark Blake's book, 'Is This The Real life.' also in a couple of magazines etc. etc. I knew him as a close personal friend virtually all his life and have hundreds of untold stories about it. I don't talk about it much because I find that people simply don't believe it. However it is easily verified. I don't know why you would want to publish this fact but you may do so if you wish. I have an unpublished manuscript detailing some amusing stories.
