I am 83. I knew Don McKague very well. He and his wife Eleanor invited me to live with them in their Toronto home in the early 60’s I was a RYERSON student. Don was a portrait photographer at that time, second deservedly, to Karsh. Don photographed the wealthy and the famous. Lester Pearson, Head of Argus Corp, Elvis Presley, Eartha Kitt and others - are names that come to mind. No pictures were assembled. Regrettably. He was a kind gentle man His photos of the Queen and Prince are often seen in Canadian military messes and wardrooms. At that time, I think, he was the only Canadian to ever photograph the Royal couple.
