The portrait is indeed that of Felix Boillot, not that of the man described, although of the same family. The man in the portrait is Felix Boillot born in 1880 who died in 1961 whose pen name is Felix de Grand-come.
He married Marie-Louise Claude and had five children: Nicolette, Claude, Raymon, Rose Marie and Andre. He, Felix Boillot ( 1880-1963), Officier de la Légion d’Honneur, Croix de Guerre with two bars; Polish Cross for Valour; Médaille d’Or de l’Académie Française; Inspecteur Génèral honoraire de l’ensignement, United Nations; Eméritus Professeur of French Language and Litterature, University of Bristol; Director of School Certificate Examinations; Sénateur, Author (pen name Felix de Grand Combe)

Félix Boillot had a son, Etienne Joseph Boillot born on October 25th 1857 in Grand'Combe Chateleu. This son will marry Julie Emma Gauthier in 1879. Together they will have a girl, Amélie Elisabeth Boillot, born on July 16th 1895 in Grand'Combe. She is my grandmother. Amélie wil marry my grandfather Marcel Monier and they have had Pierre Monier, my father and Françoise Matagne, my aunt.
