She wrote a book The Locks of Norbury; John Murray, 1940. About William Lock 1 1732-1810 and his descendants. She is related to William 1 through his son, also William 1767-1847.

I believe this person may be the descendant (on her English side) of the Locks of Norbury, great friends of Fanny Burney. The history of that family and the Italian connections in the final chapters and the genealogy of the book she wrote (The locks of Norbury. V.di Semoneta. 1940, John Murray, London) seems to confirm this.
