Camilla is the Queen Consort of the United Kingdom and Commonwealth realms as wife of King Charles III. Born Camilla Rosemary Shand, she was raised in East Sussex and South Kensington, London. She married Andrew Parker Bowles in 1973 and had two children, Tom and Laura. The couple divorced in 1995. Upon marrying the then Prince Charles in 2005, she became Duchess of Cornwall. She is president or patron of numerous charities and organisations and has campaigned to raise awareness of issues such as osteoporosis, sexual abuse, animal welfare, increasing childhood literacy and poverty.
