Margaret Helena Marie Candy (1856-1932) (on the left) was born on 21 April 1856 in Streatham, Surrey to parents, silk merchant, Charles Candy (1796-1872) and Margaret Papineau (1818-1897). She married Phillip Curtis on 7 December 1875 and died on 11 December 1932 in Switzerland.
