Margaret Papineau (1818-1897) (seated) was born on 4 August 1818 Hackney, Middlesex to parents, schoolmaster, William Michael Papineau (1785-1864) and Margaret Wilkinson (1793-1873). She married Charles Candy (1796-1872) on 14 May 1836 and died on 31 January 1897 in Cannes, France.
