William Lort Mansel
(1753-1820), Bishop of Bristol and college headSitter in 7 portraits
Mansel became Master of Trinity College, Cambridge in 1798 and was appointed Bishop of Bristol in 1808. He was a great wit and mimic of academic society; his epigrams and verses achieving great renown.
