Kingsley Tubbs was a partner in the accountancy firm Dixon, Wilson, Tubbbs & Gillett, 24 Basinghall Street London E.C.2. When I was an articled clerk there 1950-53 he had an oar on the wall of his office. He was related to a Lawrence Tubbs, Managing Director of Waxed Papers Ltd, Nunhead Lane Peckham and to Cyril Tubbs, Lawrence Tubb's son, a director after the Second World War, Until Waxed Papers was bought by Wiggins Teape Ltd in the early 1950's.
