Dorothy Rawson, the daughter of an MP and the granddaughter of the 2nd Earl of Lichfield married Sir Victor Warrender, 8th Bt in 1920. Lady Warrender was, with her husband, the joint-hostess for a fund raising event that provided the starting point for Yevonde's Goddesses series. Her husband attended the Olympian Party as Mars. It was held at Claridges on the 5th March 1935 in aid of the Greater London Fund for the Blind.
