Director of Thomas Agnew & Sons from 1955 until his death in 2010. Educated at Marlborough before serving with the Welsh Guards during the Second World War. Worked at Christie's from 1947 until 1950, after which he joined the family firm of art dealers at the same time as Evelyn Joll. Publications include Catalogue of Paintings by Samuel Scott, published by the Walpole Society (1980-2).
