(1910-1976), Actress; sister of Anthony BuckleySitter in 1 portrait
Actress. Known as 'the English Constance Bennett'. Anthony Buckley's sister enjoyed both her stage and film career before marrying Charles Harvey, director of Fothergill & Harvey. Bevan appeared in C.B. Cochran's revues and travelled to America to appear in Bitter Sweet. Her seven films included The Star Reporter (1932), The Face at the Window (1932), Puppets of Fate (1933) and Fair Exchange (1936).
