Stage and film actress. Early film roles include playing factory girl Eve in Dance Hall (1949), alongside fellow workers Petula Clark, Diana Dors and Jane Hylton. Parry married theatre director Peter Brook in 1951 and appeared in productions directed by him on stage and in films such as Meetings With Remarkable Men (1979).
