Unity More (Unity Kathleen Haig (née Morten))

Born Unity Kathleen Morten, she took the stage name Unity More and made her debut at the Empire Theatre, London, in the ballet Round the World (1909). She was not a classical dancer and performed parts that did not require pointe work. She appeared as Eros in Sylvia (1911), alongside Lydia Kyasht in the title role and Carlotta Mossetti en travesti as Amyntas. She took the part of Puck in Kyasht's Titania, 1913, and appeared with Mossetti in Ship Ahoy!, 1914. She played Peter Pan at the New Theatre (1915) and danced in the musical comedy Happy Days at Daly's (1916). On her marriage in 1918 she retired from the stage.
