Editor of The Spectator (1999-2005); previously EC Correspondent (1989-94), Assistant Editor and Chief Political Columnist (1994-9) of the Daily Telegraph; Commentator of the Year, What the Papers Say Awards, 1997. Conservative MP for Henley, (2001-8).
