Johnson was Mayor of London from 2008 until 2016 before becoming Foreign Secretary in July of the same year. He was elected MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip in 2015. Editor of The Spectator (1999-2005); previously EC Correspondent (1989-94), Assistant Editor and Chief Political Columnist (1994-9) of the Daily Telegraph; Commentator of the Year, What the Papers Say Awards, 1997. Conservative MP for Henley, (2001-8).
