Veronica Ryan

Born in the West Indies, Ryan studied at St.Albans, Bath Academy of Art, the Slade School of Art and the School for Oriental and African Studies. She was the winner of the Cleveland International Drawing Biennale in 1983, was included in the Tate Gallery exhibition Sculptors and Modellers in 1984, in 1985 she had a solo exhibition at the I.C.A. In 1987, she received a Henry Moore Foundation Award and in 1988 had a solo show at Kettles Yard, Cambridge.
