Film actress and pop star. Her pop career included having four hits with Eighth Wonder in the 1980s and her successive marriages to to Dan Donovan (Big Audio Dynamite), Jim Kerr (Simple Minds) and Liam Gallagher. Highlights of her film career include her debut, aged 6, in The Great Gatsby (1974), starring as Suzette in Absolute Beginners (1986) and as Mel Gibson's leading lady in Lethal Weapon 2 (1989). She received numerous award nominations for her portrayal of nurse Faye Morton in television series Holby City (2007-10).
