Jamaican-born Grace Beverly Jones moved to New York aged 13 with her siblings to be with their parents. Aged 18 she signed was signed to Wilehelmina Modelling Agency working in New York before moving to Paris where she shared an apartment with Jerry Hall and Jessica Lange. Celebrated for her unique androgynous image and striking features, she modelled for top fashion houses including Yves Saint Laurent and Kenzo, appearing on the covers of Elle and Vogue. As a musician and performance artist she gained a reputation for being avant-garde and uninhibited. She published her autobiography 'I'll Never Write My Memoirs' in 2015.
