Craigie Horsfield

Horsfield was born in Cambridge, England, and now lives and works in London and New York. From early in his career he has integrated his concern with relation into his work, where art is seen as one element of arts thinking, amongst other ideas conventionally given over to politics, philosophy and ethics. At the core of Horsfield's work are his collaborative social projects. His photographs make up a significant part of many of these, which have also included film, theatre, installation, performance, dance, video, sound, music, live mixing, architectural proposals and a festival. Recently his work has been featured in Documenta X and XI, Kassel and appears in collections throughout Europe and the USA.
