Opera Singer. Made her debut in 1975 in The Magic Flute (ENO) and first appeared at Glyndebourne in 1977. Since then she has performed worldwide at the major opera houses with roles including the Marschallin (Der Rosenkavalier) and Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni). She has also performed in operettas including an acclaimed performance as Helen of Troy in Offenbach's La Belle Hélène at the Chatelet in Paris (1999) and as La Grande Duchess de Gerolstein (2004-5). As a concert artist, she has worked with conductors such as Georg Solti and André Previn.
