Ben Whishaw

In 2004, at the age of 23 and having graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) the previous year, Whishaw came to prominence as Hamlet in Trevor Nunn's production. His career in theatre, film and television since has included playing anguished heroes - Sebastian Flyte in Brideshead Revisited (2008), John Keats in Bright Star (2009) and Adam Kay in This Is Going To Hurt (2021). Other notable screen roles have included the title roles in Richard II (2012) and the two Paddington films (2014 and 2017), as well as several appearances as secret-service scientist 'Q' in the James Bond franchise. In 2018 he starred in Nicholas Hytner's production of Julius Caesar at the Bridge Theatre, London.
