He was my grandfather, born in 1851, died in 1943. Married Edith Moore. Two children Barbara and Margaret. Master of the Merchant Tailors Company twice - they have a portrait of him.

Married Edith Headley Moore (1871-1948). Elder daughter was Edith Joanna Barbara Fry (1912-1968). They were buried together in Ramsgate, Kent and Edith is inscribed as the widow of Sir F.M. Fry KC?O. Their stone can be viewed on www. findagrave.com
A Sir Frederick Morris Fry Prize fund providing an English Essay Prize for scholars of the Merchant Taylors' School, was linked to a charity running from 1961-2017.
