This person was a distinguished colonial administrator in various parts of Africa and not a barrister.

Sir William was my uncle through marriage to his second wife, Winifred Paul, who had been his secretary in Uganda, and was my father's sister. On Sir William's death she moved from her residence in St John's Wood back to Edinburgh, Scotland, where I live. She died in her residence in the Cramond area of Edinburgh. My cousin, Clive Paul, came over at the bequest of Winifred's solicitors on her death to assist in winding up her affairs.
