Catharine Goffe

My husband Michael Lewia Goffe1923-2019 is related to William Goffe. His father was born n Jamaica and came to Uk to be a doctor in Kingston UK.He was Jamaican whose lineage came from banana plantations in Jamaica run by the Goffe family based in St Marys. There is a Goffe memorial chapel in the church at St Marys but all the estates have been sold over the years. There is a gap between William in America and the jamaican line following . It has always been known that the Goffes came from Whalley and `Goffe .
