Angela Mason was director of the lesbian, gay and bisexual campaigning organisation Stonewall from 1992-2002. She has been the National Adviser for Equalities and Cohesion at the Improvement and Development Agency and was Chair of the Fawcett Society from 2007 to 2013. In 2010, she was elected as a Labour councillor for Camden Borough Council.
