Actress and singer, appearing at Covent Garden and Haymarket theatres, mainly in comedy and comic opera. She was often called upon to sing in her acting roles including that of Olivia in Twelfth Night and that of The Lady in Comus. She married Jack Bannister in 1783 and retired from the stage in 1792.
