Thomas Thynne, 2nd Marquess of Bath was the son of Thomas Thynne, 1st Marquess of Bath. He was styled Lord Thynne until 1789 and Viscount Weymouth from 1789 until his father's death in 1796. Thynne served as a Conservative MP from 1786 until 1794.
