(1880-1954), Politician, deputy leader of the Labour Party

Sitter in 29 portraits
Arthur Greenwood rose to prominence within the Labour Party as secretary to the party's Advisory Committees and then to its Research Department from 1927 until 1943. He entered Parliament in 1922 and became the party's deputy leader under Clement Attlee.
