Edward Collier(circa 1642-1708), Painter
Sitter in 1 portrait
Artist of 1 portrait
Collier was a Dutch painter who moved to London briefly in 1693. He subsequently spent his last days here and was buried in St James's Church, Piccadilly. Not much is known about him, but his surviving works show that he specialised in painting still lives - a particularly Dutch genre at the time. In his two known self-portraits, he includes himself within still life scenes.
