Douglas Fairbanks Jnr was an American-born actor who made numerous stage and film appearances in Britain and the USA. Among his best-known roles are Rupert of Hentzau in the Prisoner of Zenda (1937) and the title role in Sinbad the Sailor (1947). Fairbanks settled in Britain in the early 1950s and produced television films, notably in the series Douglas Fairbanks Presents.
