Lord George Stuart, 9th Seigneur of Aubigny

Son of the Duke of Lennox, Lord George was brought up in France, inheriting the Seigneury of Aubigny in 1632. At the outbreak of civil war he joined the King, and this 'gentleman of great hopes' fell at Edgehill in the first months of the war, while commanding a cavalry regiment.
